Background
Atlas is a friendly and handsome fellow who came into Regina Cat Rescue care like so many others - stray on the city streets and suspected to have come from a a hoarding situation. Like his namesake, Atlas carries the weight of other needy cats and kittens on his shoulders, but is happy to finally be safe and loved.
Atlas is doing fantastic in his foster home. He is a very affectionate cat who loves to be petted and held. He especially loves head scratches! Atlas is also a talkative boy who loves his food. As with many street cats, poor Atlas is still still pretty skittish and is often afraid of anything being raised (like a pillow or even clothing when his foster mom is getting dressed). He is hesitant to play with toys but does enjoy a laser pointer.
Atlas comes when he's called and will sit for treats or soft food when told to sit and he tolerates brushing well. Overall, he's a very loving cat who will complete a lucky adoptive family.
