Background

Floyd was brought to Regina Cat Rescue’s attention by a concerned citizen who spotted him frozen and searching for warmth on one of the coldest days of the year. Thanks to the dedication of an RCR volunteer who spent over an hour coaxing Floyd to safety in -30 temps, he was rescued and is now safe and sound in foster care. Floyd was not claimed by an owner and is ready for a caring forever home.

Floyd is a sweet and handsome fellow who’s grateful to be safe, warm and loved. He enjoys attention and affection and is laid back and charming cat who would be a great first pet and only cat for a loving adopter. He also likes to eat and a soft bed is definitely appreciated. Floyd has beautiful green eyes and a sleek, shiny coat that invites pets. He has only been with RCR a short time, but he quickly became a volunteer favourite and has the potential to be good with other pets if introduced gradually,
