Background
Bowie’s one of our hardest luck rescues of 2021. This poor fellow came onto our radar screen in early February when we were contacted about a stray male cat with a limp and a bleeding paw spotted near a gas station hoping for some food. Unfortunately he disappeared before someone could pick him up and we feared the worst. More than a month later, he suddenly appeared again and this time he was quickly nabbed and taken to safety.
Bowie has had a rough start in life and already has a permanent injury at only one year of age. However, he hasn't let that slow him down and he has fully embraced life in foster care. Bowie’s friendly and affectionate and has adapted well to the other cats and small dog in his foster home. He would do well on his own or with other pets. Most of all, Bowie needs a safe and loving home that will provide the care he needs. Bowie currently does not have any medical needs but he may need medical care in the future if his elbow starts to become painful. He’s very happy, playful and loving and he will make a great addition to any cat-loving family with room in their home and heart for a hard-luck little fellow. Bowie's medical records are available on request.
