Background
Charles is a special fellow who came into care in the dead of winter after being stray for most of the winter and suffering many wounds from cat fights, including an eye injury that led to the eventual removal of the affected eye. Charles has been a trooper throughout and healed very well. He is now healthy, happy and ready for a home.
Charles is a handsome tabby who is gentle, affectionate and sweet once he knows you. He's been a champ since he was placed in foster care and handled his enucleation surgery and recovery like a champ. Charles loves attention and affection from his foster family, and is a joy to have around. He gets along well with other cats as long as he's introduced gradually. He's a lover, but has known rough times on the streets so he needs patience to integrate with other cats.
