Background
Yin and Yang were rescued and placed in foster care after a young pregnant female caught the eye of an RCR volunteer who scooped the little cat and got her safety. Thankfully Yin and Yang had a successful delivery and thrived in foster care. Yin and Yang are sweet and engaging cats but we would like to see him stay with his sister Yang.
Yin is a bundle of energy who is very talkative when it comes to feeding time and he loves to climb the drawer handles like a ladder to watch his foster mom prep their wet food. He has a ping pong ball when he plays - racing around the house, bouncing, leaping, prancing around, just a goofy kitten. He loves being scratched/petted and is usually purring by the second pet. He absolutely loves a favourite toy (that he carries into the bed at night) and that he loves to toss around with it while playing. He is frequently spotted sleeping with it too. I think he will grow to be a very affectionate cat.
Yang was born first and resembles her mama Momo. She's more reserved than Yin and prefers to watch and observe. Yang is obsessed with feet and attacking them under blankets. She is more talkative than Yin while they play - even a little drama queen like! She makes noises even before he touches her. She will come up to cuddle when she wants and most of the time she will settle next or near rather than on. Yang does like fluffy blankets and loves the top of one of my cat trees that has a fluffier pillow - happily kneads it before settling in. She was super cuddly when she was younger but I think has some stress/trouble relaxing without Yin around.
Overall, this dynamic duo does almost everything together. They eat from the same plate, will wrestle and play, sometimes with the same toy (even with plenty others available), and sleep together - still on top of each other, twisted together. They do well in a house with a total of six cats (they play with three of the adult cats, the oldest is just a couch potato grump) and during lots of noise! They are social cats but would do better if it was just her and her brother in the house. Yin and Yang look forward to finding their forever home together!
