Background
Luca was part of a young family of feral kittens rescued from the street by RCR volunteers who were concerned about the large stray population on the block and lack of food and shelter resources there for them. Luca and her siblings were placed in foster care and have been getting socialized and introduced to other cats. Luca is now ready for a home of her own.
Luca is a shy girl who enjoys pets and cuddles once she gets to know you. She loves to be with her people but is still shy of sudden loud noises and quick movements. She will require some patience to adapt to a new home, but she has lots of love to give to an adopter. Luca would do well as an only cat as her time on the streets has left her wary, but she can get along with others if slowly introduced. She enjoys playing and treats are a sure way to win her over.
