Background
Freddy is one of 12 cats brought to the attention of RCR by a concerned citizen worried about the fate of the cats with winter coming. An RCR volunteer checked on the situation and determined that the cats were frequenting a vacant home. RCR rescued and placed 6 cats in foster care from this location. It was then Freddy's turn to come into foster care but we had to find him. Freddy had gone missing but eventually appeared, waiting to greet the feeder and follow them back to the food bowls. Freddy was a bit thinner and had an issue with his left eye. He was taken to the vet and it was determined that he needed to have the eye removed. The surgery was successful and this sweet boy is now ready for a forever home.
Freddy is a laid back boy that loves attention, loves to sit close to you on the couch requesting non-stop pets, and has learned to play with toys recently. He can be a bit demanding when it comes to meal time so he usually gets served first! Freddy has been a trooper and after being confined for 2 weeks while his eye healed he was slowly introduced to the resident cats in his foster home and the other foster cats, one of which is his sister Dori and he has done amazing! Freddy's life on the street is now behind him and he just needs to find that forever person to give him the love and attention he deserves.
