Background
Mikey, formerly known as Glen, was just a wee kitten when he first came into RCR care after being found on a service road outside Regina. He was hungry and full of ear mites, but he was a very sweet and loving little guy. He was placed into foster care and went on to find a loving home with a young couple. Mikey was the apple of their eye for several years, but they were sadly forced to surrender him recent;ly when they had a baby who is allergic to cats. Mikey is back in his original foster home where he has adapted pretty well to the multi-cat home. He is a very affectionate cat and he would love to find a forever home with a little less cat company and a few more human friends.
Mikey is a friendly and social cat who loves attention. He is a big fella with a big heart and a lot of love to give. Despite his size, Mikey is a very quiet cat with the softest, sweetest purrs. He loves to play and especially enjoys catnip sardines or almost anything with catnip in it. Mikey would make a great family pet as he's laid back and well behaved. He would be fine as an only cat but he is good with other confident cats. He can be a bit of a tease with the more timid ones. If you are seeking a loving feline friend who is easy to care for and just enjoys being with you, Mikey is your guy!
