Background
Clancy is an incredibly handsome young fellow who was living on the streets with winter weather looming when he was thankfully rescued and placed into foster care. He did not go unscathed during his time as a stray and is shy to start but sweet Clancy has flourished in his loving foster home and is ready to join a forever family.
Clancy is a sweet but shy fellow who enjoys attention and is very receptive to any pets and cuddles he receives. He loves to follow his humans around to see what they are up to. Clancy is a chatty boy who will greet you when you get home and he will be right by your side, ready to eat and play in the mornings. With some help from his foster family and RCR volunteers, Clancy has become trusting of humans and has become eager to greet new friends that come to visit. He is very affectionate on his own terms. He is very curious as to what occupies his human friends and is an expert at choosing cozy resting places! Clancy will need a gradual introduction to other pets and would benefit from being introduced to a new home via a smaller space like a spare room before he gets access to the entire home.
