Background
Spencer and Diego are two beautiful mature cats who have had more than their share of bad luck in finding a permanent home. Both initially adopted as rescued strays from different rescues, they bonded and enjoyed a loving home until their owner became seriously ill and had to surrender them. We were fortunate to find another placement for them together, but unfortunately the family fell on hard times and they were once again surrendered back to RCR. We are hoping with all our hearts that the third time will be the charm for these cats and that they find a true forever home.
Spencer is a friendly and social cat who definitely plays the part of big brother. He is the leader of the two and is curious, affectionate and completely adorable. Spencer has no tail. Diego is a shy but sweet fellow who is content to follow Spencer's lead. It took him a bit longer to come out of his shell but he is a lovely gentle boy who enjoys affection and loves being brushed. They make a terrific team and would be an amazing addition to a family looking for a pair of cats to add laughter and love.
