Background
Danica is one of many timid cats rescued late last summer from a desperate situation. She was very shy, but showed potential to be a loving house cat with some time and patience so she was placed in foster care. Danica has continued to progress and has come out of her shell thanks to a kind and patient foster mom who let her go at her own pace. Danica is now ready for a home of her own.
Danica is a shy but sweet little cat who is grateful to be safe in foster care and not on the street. She will need a bit of patience as she gets to know new people, but she is very affectionate once she feels comfortable. As a mature cat, she will make a great feline friend for someone who is looking for a calm cat that enjoys pets but is not overly demanding. She does like to play with toys and that's a great way to get to know her, and she also enjoys her treats. Danica was living with a number of cats on the street, but has been fostered as an only cat. She will need a gradual introduction to other cats as per best practices for pet integration.
