Background
Bella is a young cat barely out of kitten-hood herself when she was rescued off the street heavily pregnant. She was rescued just in the nick of time as she delivered a litter shortly thereafter. The little family was placed in foster care and all seemed to be going well when suddenly Bella became ill and couldn't nurse her kittens. She was diagnosed with Pyometra and had to have an emergency spay. To top it all off, she had to have the tip of her tail removed due to frostbite. Thankfully, Bella has prevailed and is all recovered and ready for a home of her own.
Bella had a rough start in life and she is quite shy but super sweet. She loves to talk and will happily chat with you all day. She wants to be close to her people and will cuddle on her terms. Bella can be easily startled but can she be coaxed out of hiding quickly with a soft voice and some treats. Bella LOVES food, if you have some she thinks she should have some too. She prefers soft food over hard but will eat hard food when it’s mixed with soft. Bella is very curious and likes to inspect everything.
She loves to have lots of little cat hiding spots where she can sneak off to if she is nervous or needs a break. However, she is an absolute darling who deserves a family who understands that she needs some time to put the fears of living on the street behind her. Bella has made great progress and is well on her way to becoming a huge cuddle bug.
