Background

Jordan and his sister were born to a community cat mom and were being fed by a caring citizen who contacted RCR for help. When an RCR volunteer went to assess the situation, they saw that the kittens looked a little too old to tame so it was decided that the kittens would be trapped, sterilized and released back as part of our trap, neuter, return, manage (TNRM) program to be cared for by the citizen that contacted RCR. While contained they started to appear curious of the other cats in their foster home and started to come to the front of the cage and within days started to earn some trust with the humans, play with the cat toys and allow their foster parents to start petting them. Not all feral kittens at an older age are easy to tame but Sidney and her brother were two lucky kittens who were.

Jordan is a stunning young kitten with soft grey fur who is very energetic and always on the move. Jordan loves to race around the house chasing his sister and scaring her by hiding and jumping out of the cat tunnel. When Jordan isn't playing and racing around, he will just decide to come jump on his foster parent's lap, curl up and settle in for some pets and a nap. Jordan loves to play with all the cat toys, snuggle up in the hammock on the cat tree and play with his sister. Jordan is the first in line at feeding time, he thinks every bowl of food is for him, and like a teenager he always seems to be hungry! Jordan would love a new home with a friend or better yet his sister.
