Background
Jan and her siblings were spotted late in the fall living with their mother cat under a deck with winter about to unleash its worst. Thankfully, a couple of local residents teamed up to rescue them and get them into foster care where they have thrived. Jan is a little bit shy but she is a little sweetheart with lots of love to give.
Jan is a very expressive kitten and she is sure to let you know how she's feeling. She is timid but she has become much more tolerant of handling and petting. Jan is extremely playful, brave and curious. If her sisters are already there she is not far behind. Jan needs someone to patiently work with her so she can finish coming out of her shell. She isn't friends with the dog yet but loves to watch her when she thinks the dog is not looking and try to sneak closer. Jan's little white flame on her forehead and calico coloring make her stand out in any crowd. She would do well in a home with another cat to give her confidence.
