Background

Hello! My name is Pantera. I am a beautiful tuxedo cat. My name means panther in Latin. I am 3 years old and have been under the watchful eye of RCR a couple of times. My previous human couldn't keep me anymore so I am being fostered. I really like it here. It is quiet, and I am learning trust, sleeping with humans (they take up a lot of room), and I am starting to come when my name is called. When I first got here I was a bit skittish, but I am learning to relax. I am a really good eater. You can tell my my really shiny, soft black fur. I also have very unique markings. I have a white bib, my back paws are white, and I look like I have 3 toes in white toenail polish. I don't shed much either. I would be really good for humans who don't want to clean up a lot of pet hair.

I spend most of my days looking out the window and chattering at the birds, waiting for someone to love me furever. I have a really tiny meow. My fosters think it's really cute. I love to announce my presence when I walk in a room, or when they ask me how I am doing. I love to sit beside my fosters on the couch, and am slowly learning that their laps are pretty comfy too. I especially love my foster dad, so if you know a guy who is looking for a pretty cat, please set us up. I recently spent some time with an 8 year old boy. He was gentle with me and we got along great.

I am quiet, am learning good manners, use my box religiously, love treats and rubbing against your legs to let you know how much I love you. I and just want to hang out while you watch tv or read. I am a wonderful, respectful furry family member. I love to play and occasionally have bursts of energy, but I sleep all night.
