Background
Heath came into care when RCR received a request for help from a kind lady who was concerned about a young, injured cat that was hanging around her yard. Luckily a volunteer was close by and was able to scoop the little guy and get him to a vet. Heath had been attacked by another cat and suffered a large wound that had become abscessed. Thankfully, he was in good shape otherwise and was neutered and placed in foster care when he went unclaimed. His wound is healing nicely and he's ready for a home of his own.
Heath is a very sweet and friendly fellow who enjoys being with people and is happy to be off the street. This little love bug adores giving kisses and loves to be held and cuddled. He likes to chat with his foster mom about her day and is always up for some pets and snuggles. Heath enjoys cat toys and is a happy go lucky little guy who would make a great family pet or a first pet for a first time pet owner. After his time on the street, Heath will need a gradual introduction to other pets, per best practices for pet integration.
