Background
Ila was living life as a community cat prior to rescue and we weren't sure of her temperament. She was trapped with the intention of spaying her and returning her to her colony, but Ila had other plans. She showed just enough promise that we decided to place her in foster care, and we are so glad we did! This little lady will make her lucky adopter a wonderful pet.
Ila is a special, dainty kitty. She is a very tiny cat with a big heart and a big personality. Ila is in that wonderful space of acting like a kitten and bonding like a grown cat. She loves to explore everything, and after her curiosity is satisfied, she wants a loving lap. Ila has a tiny meow, but loves to talk and thread herself between your legs to get your attention. Her foster parents are always on the lookout for her because she doesn't like to be alone for long. Ila moves quickly and quietly but is never far away. She is very responsive to her name and purrs in response to any contact. Ila loves her meaty soft food and likes small light toys that she can move with her paws, or that roll. And of course, she loves her scratch lounge and post. She is currently figuring out that the cat in the mirror is herself. She often makes her foster family laugh out loud with her reaction.
Ila is a completely black cat -- fur, whiskers, and pads. Her coat is shiny and healthy, and she is a real "people" cat. She loves sitting on or beside you and loves to be petted from her nose to her toes. She loves touch and will be easy to groom. She also gets along with the other cat in her foster home after being gradually introduced.
