Background

Marlin was living on the street at one of RCR's Community Cat feeding stations when volunteers caught him in a trap as part of our Trap/Neuter/Return/Maintain program. The handsome fellow was wary, but proved to be tame and fortunately we were able to place him in foster care instead of returning him to the street. Marlin has adjusted well to indoor life and is ready to find a home of his own.

Marlin started out a little bit shy which is often the case with cats coming off the street. However, he definitely prefers the life of a house cat and has settled in nicely. He appreciates pets and cuddles, and is always up for a good meal! He is good about using scratch posts and is even learning to enjoy cat toys. Merlin gets along well with the other cat in the home after a gradual introduction, per best practices for pet integration.
