Precious

This lovely young black-and-white cat is Precious, a 7-month old spayed female who was rescued from the street in obvious distress in advanced stages of pregnancy, malnutrition, and dehydration. Her kittens were born prematurely shortly after Precious was rescued, but due to her poor health, her milk dried up and all 3 kittens died 24 hours after they were born.

Precious was put on an aggressive regimen for rehydration and nutrition and has made an amazing recovery. She is a very friendly cat who loves attention and comes running to meet her people at the door. She also loves to play and is good with other cats. Precious is still recovering from her trauma and needs a quiet home with preferably no (or older) children and no dogs.

Precious is terrifed of dogs (likely the result of being terrorized by them while living on the street) and gets very distressed at even the sound of dogs walking past. Precious is also afraid of being outdoors and being abandoned so she needs to be a strictly indoor cat.
