Cookie
Adopted April 1st, 2011
My name is Cookie, and I’m every bit as sweet as my name! I’m a 2 year old spayed female with current vaccinations, and pretty markings. I’m very happy to be safe in a People for Animals foster home after a close call in my last home.
I used to live in a group home for mentally challenged teen-agers. The staff thought it would be nice for the residents to have a pet to play with and cuddle while they were away from home. I had some nice friends there, but one day a resident attacked me and pulled out my fur and hit me repeatedly.
Everyone was afraid it would happen again if I didn’t go to a new spot, so they called PFA for help.
I was lucky to get placed in a loving foster home with a nice family that is fostering another cat for PFA, now I have a cat buddy and also a little girl to play and snuggle with. I love to talk and get attention, and I also adore my soft treats.
I really am very loving, even though I haven’t always been shown the love. If you are looking for an affectionate and interactive pet, I may just be the perfect feline friend for you.
