Adopted January 17th, 2012

This beautiful, photogenic and petite girl is Nina, a 4-5-year-old grey cat with unique green and amber eyes. Nina was originally rescued by PFA about two years ago. We called her Scrapalina because she was living on scraps on the streets after being cruelly thrown out of her home.

Fortunately, Nina was adopted into a great home, where she lived for 18 months before she was returned to PFA because her owner moved to a home that does not allow pets. Nina was very stressed by the move to her foster home at first, but after a lot of TLC, is now thriving and ready to be adopted into a fur-ever home.

While Nina is doing well in a multi-pet foster home, we get the impression that she would do even better as an only cat or as the only cat with a small dog. She loves entertaining herself with her mouse toys and scratching posts, and she cries every morning for her wet and raw food. Nina is a real people cat, cuddling during the day and curling up at the foot of your bed at night.
