Vinnie
Deceased: July 9, 2012
Vinnie would have quite the tales to tell if only he could talk! Vinnie was rescued by PFA in the fall after being discovered at a motel out in Craven, hungry, scarred and scabbed, and craving attention.
We don't know Vinnie's story for certain, but we do know that a lot of cats are cruelly dumped in that area and left to fend for themselves. Many die, but thankfully Vinnie was found in time. His wounds have healed now and the only signs of his rough beginning is that his left ear is missing a chunk due to frostbite.
Vinnie is a sleek black cat with patches of white on his chest and belly and mesmerizing yellow eyes. He is almost at a healthy weight again, and is a large cat with long, lanky limbs and tail.
Vinnie is 4-5 years old, neutered and vaccinated. He is a calm, friendly cat that enjoys being petted and likes attention. He is very chatty and loves talking to his foster mom and telling her about his day. Vinnie likes to be picked up and carried and goes limp in your arms when cradled. Vinnie is very glad to be safe, warm and fed and exudes contentment now.
Vinnie has lots of love to give a kind adopter, and he is hoping to be equally loved in return. He would be happiest as an only cat who is the sole furry object of his person's affection, but could adapt to one or two other pets.
