Background
This beauty is Amira who is a bit of a miracle. Amira was rescued from a People for Animals feeding station by a volunteer who noticed that she was in very rough shape. Rushed to the vet clinic, Amira was severally underweight and had sever diarrhea. During her spay surgery Amira's heart actually stopped but thanks to the amazing staff at Victoria Vet Clinic they were able to get it started again and Amira pulled through. It was a miracle for Amira and hopefully just the first. Her second miracle would be to find a forever home that will cherish this wonderful little girl and keep her safe.
Amira has now completely recovered from her near-death experience and is thriving in her foster home. She is a bit shy of new people to begin with, but once she has warmed up to them she is very affectionate. She loves to be brushed and enjoys getting attention from those willing to share it. After the rough start Amira has had she just wants to be loved.
