Background
Mia ia a beautiful cat who came to People For Animals with her small kitten when they were abandoned at a rental property and the landlord contact PFA for help finding the cats a home. At the time Mia's fur was starting to mat, but with some patience and time, a PFA volunteer was able to brush and cut out all of the mats. Mia's fur is now growing back, and with proper food and grooming, matting is a thing of the past.
Mia enjoys curling up on her foster parents chests in the evenings to get her daily brushing along with some pets and cuddles. She spends her days watching over her baby, who she is still protective of, and playing with the other cats and dog in the house. Though Mia is a year old, she still has the playfulness of a kitten and enjoys a good game of chase now and then.
