Background

This extraordinary girl is lucky to be alive. Found as a stray extremely starved and very pregnant, she was scooped up by a concerned woman and taken to a PFA contact who rushed her to the vet. After a thorough exam the vet feared that Alexandra would not survive the delivery of her kittens and hadn't produce milk to nurse them even is she did survive. The difficult decision to end the pregnancy to save Alexandra was made and this amazing girl pulled through the surgery better than everyone expected. "She's a fighter," were the vets exact words.

Now this beauty is in foster care and recovering from her close call with death. She is extremely friendly and immediately comes to her foster home from snuggles and pets. Alexandra is so happy to be safe and cared for the she'll roll over on her back to have her belly rubbed while she purrs her happiness.

Though Alexandra has been through so much, she is still so trusting of humans. This sweetheart is looking for a family who will value her for all she will bring into their lives and someone who will always love and cherish her.
