Background
Found on the side of the highway out by Moose Jaw, Promise's rescuers brought her back to their home in Regina and "promised" they'd never let her spend another day without love. Unable to keep her, they contact PFA for help getting this gorgeous girl a new loving home.
Promise was filthy when she was rescued and based on the matting in her fur, she had spent a while fending for herself on the streets. After a bath and a brush, it was obvious that she was very under weight and that in addition to love, she needed a good meal to fatten her up. Once she had gained a little weight and the vets had cleared her to go to a foster home, it wasn't long before a foster home come forward only too willing to help this sweetie.
Promise loves to be snuggled and petted and has a purr that can be heard on the other side of the room. She is just beginning to learn how to play with toys and will need a loving and patient home who will appreciate the rough past Promise is beginning to overcome.
