Hobbes

Hobbes (formerly known as Andi) knew he was far too cunning and regal for street life. Never one to miss a meal, Hobbes positioned himself for rescue at a RCR feeding station in North Central Regina in 2012. Knowing a good thing, Hobbes turned on his charm when he met Jen and never again ventured out from the comforts inside their homes.

Vowing never to miss another meal, Hobbes was not above performing for treats and quickly learned that shaking a paw, giving high fives, and especially kitty kisses resulted in treats galore. There was always a cozy blanket or pile of clean laundry to rest his weary head, but Hobbes favorite place to be was snuggled up on Jen. Hobbester the mobster shared Jen with Pedro, but frequently stole Pedro’s socks just to make sure everyone knew who was boss.

A hole has been left in Jen and Pedro’s hearts as Hobbes passed away in July 2023. His goofy antics and loving demeanor will never be forgotten. He was one of a kind.
