Are you looking for a place to make an impact? Join the Regina Cat Rescue volunteers and be the beacon of change for cats in need. Volunteering is a great way to become involved and give back to your community, as well as have fun with great people and become part of a purrrfect team!

With cooler weather around the corner, the urgency to find loving, temporary homes for our feline friends grows. There are many tame cats on our radar, and endless calls for help, but we are unable to take in any more cats without somewhere to place them. RCR is in desperate need of fosters to help us provide warmth and care for these cats in need.⁠ ⁠

We’re seeking donations for our fall Online Auction and looking to you—our followers, fellow cat lovers, and animal advocates—to help spread the word! Find out more on how to donate or give us a hand by reaching out to the businesses you frequent. We can supply you with a formal donation request letter, and the fundraising team will handle the rest!

We LOVE to share adoption success stories! Our last call for updates allowed us to make Where are They MEOW? a weekly feature on social media. It's taken us a full year to post everyone's stories, but we're ready for more! We can't wait to hear your stories!

We need you to volunteer at events at Mosaic Stadium, including Saskatchewan Roughrider home games! This is a valuable, consistent source of funds for RCR which enables us to pay for veterinary care for Regina's abandoned cats and kittens. Volunteer just a few hours of your time and you'll be making a significant contribution to RCR.

It all began with an abandoned, pregnant cat who was left to fend for herself in 2021. This act of neglect set off a chain reaction, resulting in a colony of cats struggling to survive on the streets. It is a classic example of how overpopulation occurs, and the severity of this situation is a challenge greater than RCR has ever encountered.
