Kitten sterilization sponsorships still needed
Regina Cat Rescue is extremely grateful to all the kind people who responded to our plea and stepped up to sponsor the sterilization of one of our many wonderful kittens.
While we have received a number of sponsorships to date, we still have more than 30 kittens awaiting their spay neuter surgeries, and every donation helps. Some of the kittens still needing sponsorship are:
Abbey Philly Rider
Alley Annie Del Rey
Minaji Azalea Delrulo
Gainer Teaco Ygritte
Henry Giuseppe Louise
Lynda Willy Nelson Earnest Tubb
Lucinda Patsy Klein Lily
Donnatella Amber Sarah
Drew Brady Emma
Krystal Elsa Gemma
Scooter Oliver Charlie
Murphy Toby Kiki
Lucy Bailey Boots
Ali Linnea Mia
Lexi Phoebe Julie
Pearl Jefferson Jake
Bella Annie Toulouse
If you are wondering how RCR came to be in such a predicament, please consider the reproduction statistics for one un-spayed female cat. Female cats can have multiple litters per year, with multiple kittens per litter. And if those kittens are not sterilized, they will go on to reproduce in similar quantities. This is why there is a problem with cat over-population, and that leads to increased euthanizations at shelters, and suffering on the streets.
Sterilization is the key to reducing the population of unwanted animals, and Regina Cat Rescue is committed to sterilizing all of our cats and kittens before they leave our care.
Please consider sponsoring a spay/neuter and support our efforts to reduce the number of unwanted cats born in our community.
