It has been a very busy year for Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) with 292 rescues as of the end of September.
With RCR’s new sterilization policy, which came into effect in July of 2013, all cats and kittens are now spayed or neutered before being placed for adoption. This naturally means that fundraising is key in order for RCR to have the financial ability to pay for the cost of each spay or neuter needed.
Currently RCR has 154 cats and kittens in foster care which of these, 60 are kittens still needing to be fixed by the end of October. With our TNR (trap/neuter or spay & return) in full swing at our feral colonies before winter hits, money is stretched very thin and to fix the current kittens in care RCR is looking at spending $8000 or more.
With a sponsorship of $50 - $99 your name will be entered in a draw to win a $50 Metro Pets gift card. With a sponsorship of $100 or more your name will be entered in a draw to win a $100 Metro Pets gift card. Any sponsorships of $75 or more will have their sponsorship noted in the ad for the kitten who’s spay/neuter they have sponsored.
