Cat Days of Summer

It's mid-July, and PFA is experiencing a serious mid-summer slump. While the calls for help and intake of mamas, kittens and other strays - if we can - is high, adoptions are stagnant and our existing foster homes are overloaded and frustrated.

We have a number of tame, sweet cats being supported outdoors and at feral colonies while we wait for adoptions to happen, or new foster homes to come on board.

Unfortunately, this is a tall order in the summer and we are as strapped as we've ever been. When we get calls for new rescues like this little guy, found by a feral team volunteer at a feeding station, we are hard pressed to find space.  We currently have 4 adults and at least 6 kittens waiting and in need of foster care.

If you or someone you know might be interested in fostering, please contact us at pfasask@gmail.com.
