It's National Feral Cat Day!

October 16th is National Feral Cat Day! The wonderful Alley Cat Allies, an advocacy group for the humane treatment of cats based in the United States,  created National Feral Cat Day® a decade ago to promote humane care for feral cats.

PFA would like to take this opportunity to recognize our dedicated feral feeders who are out caring for feral cats living outdoors every day, rain or shine (or snow or blizzards).

If you love animals and want to make a difference, consider becoming a feral cat feeder! It is a very rewarding way to volunteer and help feral cats.

You can also help us out by assisting with our upcoming shelter-box bee, where volunteers will create much needed outdoor shelters to help the outside cats make it through the harsh winter months.

If you want to learn more about feral cats and humane Trap/Neuter/Release programs, visit the Alley Cats Allies Website at http://www.alleycat.org  or contact us at pfasask@gmail.com for more info about our feral cat program.
