Thank-you From Our Little Three-legged Kitty!
Thanks to a quick response and many generous donations, Hawksley, our frostbitten kitten, was able to have the surgery he needed to remove his leg and relieve him of severe pain and the potential for serious infection.
Our spunky little guy is now recovering in his foster home, and is bouncing back fast and adapting well to life with three legs.
People for Animals (and Hawksley) would like to thank everyone who shared his story to raise awareness, donated towards his care and kept him in their prayers while he underwent surgery.
The response was tremendous for this little guy, way beyond what we had hoped, and we are very grateful for the generous support that enables us to help out cats in need like Hawksley.
We are pleased to announce that our sweet boy has already been adopted by a loving family and will be joining them once he's recovered! His adoption fee was kindly sponsored by the Saylor family.
