Back to Square One for Long-time Foster Pair

Archie and Jones are two sweet and handsome male cats that came to us from a hoarding situation and were a bonded pair that needed to stay together.

We were thrilled when the boys got a loving home last fall after a year in foster care that included lengthy stints at satellite adoption centres in addition to time with a loving foster home. We had high hopes that they had at last found a forever home.

Sadly, the family contacted us recently to say that cats weren't working out with their busy home and lifestyle, and that they would be better suited to a quieter home.

So, the boys are back in care and once again on the hunt for a family. In this photo from their current foster home, they seem to be asking each other "what happened? What are we doing back in foster care?"

Archie is a laid-back and affectionate cat who enjoys quiet time getting attention. Jones is a sweet and vocal guy who loves so sleep with someone at night and likes to snuggle under the covers. He will follow you around meowing to be held.

Both cats are sterilized, have current vaccinations and are good with kids and other cats but are best suited to a home without dogs, and one where they will get lots of attention and affection.  A retired couple or family with stay-at-home parent would be a good fit.
