An Early Thanksgiving for Some Teeny Rescues
We are giving thanks early this Thanksgiving week-end that some teeny-tiny babies were rescued and landed in our care.
Our little pumpkin-spiced and buff-fluffy kitten is just a baby but has already used up 2 of his 9 lives. Rescued from a dilapidated old farmhouse, he fell through the attic ceiling to land on the 2nd floor, only to fall through a register and end up in the furnace ducts, thankfully unscathed.
The little black and white babies were found all by themselves at a local business with no mama in sight at only 3 weeks of age, and needed help to survive. They were dropped on the doorstep of a PFA volunteer, who was surprised to find herself with two tiny babies needing constant care and feeding. Luckily she was up to the task and the babies are thriving. Bottle feeding is not easy work - kittens need feedings every two hours!
We are thankful that there are kind people out there that rescue and care for little guys like this!
Have a great Thanksgiving week-end!
