Update on Trash Can Kitties
In the fall of 2012, PFA was contacted by a concerned woman who had just found 3 tiny baby kittens in a trash can, sealed in a box and in serious peril had their cries not been heard. The little trash-can kitties, Orin, Otis, and Oliver, were taken to an experienced kitten foster home for specialized care.
The poor kittens had upper respiratory infections and eye infections, but they were tough little survivors and all three went on to thrive and find loving homes, and continue to well today.
Here they are today, happy and healthy and much loved. Orin (orange/buff with white) was adopted by his foster mom and now is a big brother to new little foster kittens! Oliver (brown tabby) was adopted by his rescuer and enjoys his other feline friends, and Otis (orange tabby) is living the good life with a kind couple in Saskatoon.
These three cats deserved the best after their terrible start to life, and we are happy we were able to help give it to them!
