Background
Archie came to RCR as a transplant from an out of province rescue group. Though RCR doesn’t normally take cats from outside of Regina, with the severe flooding of June and July, the rescue group who found Archie simply had nowhere safe to place him. Thankfully, RCR had some foster spaces and now Archie is waiting for his forever family to find him.
Archie is a sweet fellow who “plays shy” when he first meets new people. However, if you give Archie a few minutes to get used to you, he’s all about the cuddles then. Archie enjoys taking his afternoon naps curled up beside his foster mom so he can reach out and touch her leg and remind her to give him a few pets. When the nap is over its play time and Archie enjoys chasing his foster siblings around the house and having wrestling matches with them. He is also being fostered with a large dog who Archie quickly adjusted to and has become friends with.
