Background

This sweet fellow has had several people help him on his way to being rescued.  Originally spotted by some RCMP cadets living as a stray out by the barracks, the cadets took pity on Deder and began to feed him.  Hoping that he would find a home with someone at the Depot, or a visitor to the Museum, the cadets were happy to continue to feed him.  However, with winter setting in, and their class moving up, the cadets approached a cat loving Commissioner for help.  Thankfully the Commissioner knew exactly who to contact, and so Deder found his way to RCR foster care.

Deder is a sweetheart who is so laid back, it continues to surprise his foster mom.  With a large dog, and multiple foster cats in his foster home, it took Deder only days to settle in and make himself at home.  Deder is very happy to be able to curl up someplace where he can see his foster mom, but he doesn’t feel the need to always be sitting beside her.  Deder loves to get chin scratches and cheek rubs, and will rub against his foster mom’s legs for attention when he feels he needs it.

With his laid back personality this guy will fit in with any family who has love to give.
