Background
Benson was Regina Cat Rescue’s first rescue of the new year after his long-time caregiver reached out for help as temperatures turned cold, and she was not only concerned for his safety, but also suspected that this sweet boy might be better suited to a home. As it turns out, she was right and sweet Benson has been most grateful since his rescue.
Benson needed a bit of time to adjust to suddenly being a pampered house pet, but he proved to be very tame and very grateful for the TLC. In fact, Benson is so happy to be safe and loved that he has a bit of separation anxiety and may protest when you stop giving him attention! He just can’t get enough love and attention. Benson may require a bit of patience as he’s still adjusting to the changes in his life and he is a bit needy, but the longer he’s safe in a stable situation the more relaxed and easy going he will be.
