Background
Mateo is a sweet young fellow who was facing the winter outdoors with little means of support when a kind person rescued him and sought RCR's help. He was placed into a foster home where he has gradually come out of his shell and he is now ready for a home of his own.
Mateo is a shy but loving guy who needs some time and patience to get to know new people. Once he's comfortable, though, he's a great little cat companion. Mateo is a playful and curious cat who likes to be around his people and will follow them everywhere. He's also quite playful and enjoys cat toys and interactive play with his foster family. Mateo gets along well with the other cats in his foster home and would make a great addition to a family with her without other pets, and older or no children.
