Background
Ruby is a cute and loving cat who was found stray and taken in by a concerned citizen who didn't want to see the poor cat outside in the winter. He contacted RCR for help and Ruby was placed in foster care, where she has demonstrated her playful and loving nature. Ruby would love to find a home of her own where she is the ruler of the roost!
Ruby is a stunning girl with classic tabby cat markings and the prettiest green eyes. She is very friendly and loving with the cutest habit of popping up onto her back legs to lean in close for pets and cuddles. She just loves to be loved and cuddled and is great with people! Ruby loves her soft food and is the first one to the kitchen for meal time, but she does have good mealtime manners. She loves to play and is quick to let her guard down when she is engaged with toys. Ruby's time on the street has left her defensive of other cats and she would love to fly solo in a home and get all the love! Or, she would be fine with one laid back cat, but is not suited to a multi-cat home. With a heart as big as they come and so much love to give, Ruby is sure to please a first time pet owner or family seeking a loving and interactive pet.
