Background

Hazel is a gentle little soul who had a bit of an adventure before she was rescued and brought into RCR Care. She was trapped in an abandoned garage during frigid temperatures and then due to the melting and refreezing, the small path she had to go in and out became blocked. Thankfully, a kind woman spotted her and though it took a few days, she was able to earn her trust. The window had to be removed to get to Hazel but she was finally safe and her healing journey began.

Once Hazel was safe and warm, her loving and gentle personality started shining through. She is so grateful to be rescued and she shows it by purring loudly and licking your hands when you pet her. Hazel  loves everyone, including her fellow felines, dogs, kids. She has a calm, gentle  and quiet demeanor and thrives on finding the coziest, comfiest spots to rest. Her favourite place to be us cozied up in someone's lap or chest. Hazel is looking for a kind, caring, indoor home with a family that will keep her safe the rest of her life so she doesn’t have to experience the streets again.
