Background

Holmes and his littermates were discovered as wee babies in the backyard in a Regina neighbourhood by a kind couple who was concerned for their safety during the late winter blast that the city experienced in late April. They fell in love and decided to keep the mama and one kittens, but reached out for help to get the remaining kittens good homes. The kittens were placed in foster care and have been sweet and well socialized little pets ready to light up the lives of a forever family.

Just as his namesake, Holmes is the first to investigate a new situation or toy. He enjoys playtime with toys, but will often sit back when the energy of his siblings is too high. That said, he likes to chase his siblings around, hoping for a good wrestling match!

Holmes is also the first to cuddle up after a good play session. He loves to be held and cuddled – the closer he can lay to you (or on you) the better! He has a laid back personality, and will accept all the chin scratches and pets that he can get. 

Holmes has met the resident dog through a baby gate, and shows confidence when he knows he is safe. He’s great with kids, and would do well in any animal-loving home.
