Gilbert
Adopted July 16th, 2011
Meet Gilbert, one kitten of the 2011 Sedley family. This adorable little cat family is the latest mama cat and litter rescued from the Sedley Seed Plant - something of an annual tradition for People for Animals as there have been a number of tame mamas rescued from there the last few years.
Mama Lucy was placed into a PFA foster home with her babies when they were just a few days old. They have thrived with their loving foster family and are very sweet, confident and loving kittens. They will be 8 weeks old and ready for adoption with their first shots the week of June 20th.
The kittens are Cuthbert (orange), Gilbert (black/white), Marilla (grey) and Emily Starr (black). Their mama is the pretty young tortoiseshell, Lucy.
Gilbert, the black and white, is a loving little lap cat. He's happy to get into mischief with Emily Starr, but also likes to hang out and have his head stroked.
