Background

Houdini is a one of a kind wonderful find who has left an impression on everyone who has met him! Volunteers describe him as an "awesome cat who rocks". Houdini was initially thought to be feral but thanks to kind and patient foster home, he is known to be the polar opposite. Houdini's foster home had to work slowly and diligently to earn his trust, feeding him and eventually got him inside the home to have him assessed by a vet.

Houdini was so badly matted they thought he'd been caught in a fan belt or otherwise injured, but he just had bad mats and was proven healthy once shaved. He now has soft and silky smooth fur which will need to be brushed to prevent mats from happening again. He is very affectionate and sweet and the foster home is blown away by his loving personality as they've fostered dozens of cats but he really stands out! Having learned the love and care of a person again, Houdini has flourished in his foster home.
