Update on sweet Autumn

October 11, 2013 was a night one of RCR's volunteers will never forget. While out feeding at one of the 30 maintained feral feeding stations throughout Regina, our head of the feral team came across poor Autumn who was barely hanging onto life and in need of emergency surgery to amputate her front leg which was severally infected.

Almost a year later you would never know how close Autumn came to losing her life. After some time recovering at the vet clinic, Autumn was placed in a foster home where she has flourished! If you didn't know she was missing a leg, you'd never be able to tell by her playful personality. Autumn climbs stairs, jumps on furniture and plays with toys just like any other cat would do. This beauty loves to "talk" to any visitors to her home and enjoys snuggling up in laps for some pets and cuddles.

While recovering in her foster home, Autumn quickly stole the heart of her foster dad who has since adopted her as he couldn't imagine his life without her. Though Autumn may be missing a leg, she certainly has everything that matters; a daddy who loves her!
