Good night, sweet Latte

Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) is mourning the loss of one of our longer-term foster cats, Latte. He was taken in for veterinary care due to blood in his urine on Saturday, but soon it was discovered there were more extensive problems. Latte was euthanized Sunday afternoon due to kidney failure.

Latte was a handsome, green-eyed cat who was a bit shy. He spent most of his life in Regina Cat Rescue foster care. His foster mom arrived home from vacation on Saturday to find Latte had blood in his urine. She took him to the vet where they did everything they could for Latte, but during his first night at the vet he crashed and went into renal failure. Around the clock supportive care was ordered to try to save his life. Unfortunately, Latte had severe renal failure and crossed the rainbow bridge while being held in his foster mom's arms. Latte was very special to those who knew him but particularly to his foster mom who saw him through a failed adoption and cared for him for the past three years.

You can help ensure that cats in RCR's care receive the chance they deserve to survive by donating in Latte's memory. Donate by PayPal, E-Transfer, cheque or cash.

Rest in peace, sweet Latte. You'll be missed.

-Alanna, Regina Cat Rescue
