Meet the Politicats!

It's election season in Canada and Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) has decided to join in the election fun! Meet four of RCR's recently rescued kittens - Justin, Thomas, Stephen and Elizabeth.

Our little party leaders were found living on Regina's streets with their mom by a caring family who contacted RCR for help. They were placed into RCR foster care where they have flourished. Justin, Thomas, Stephen and Elizabeth love to challenge each other and can often be found sparring over important issues like use of the scratching post, access to the food dish and whose turn it is to snuggle with their foster mom.

While the real Justin, Thomas, Stephen and Elizabeth are busy on the campaign trail hoping for success come October 19, their kitten versions are campaigning for funds for their spay and neuter surgeries. Donate by Paypal or e-transfer today! Donations over $25 qualify for a tax receipt.

C'mon kitties - you know stuffing the ballot box isn't allowed!

If you'd like to adopt one of our lil' leaders, start by completing the adoption application. Justin has been pre-adopted, but Thomas, Stephen and Elizabeth are still available and will be ready to go to their forever homes in a few weeks!

There are thousands of abandoned cats and kittens on Regina's streets and RCR's volunteers work hard to rescue as many as possible (307 so far in 2015). Tame cats and kittens are placed into our foster care system while feral cats are trapped, neutered and released into managed colonies through our TNR program. As an entirely volunteer-run organization with no shelter facility funds raised go where they are needed most - the cats!
