Adoption fee to increase for cats one year or younger
Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) will be increasing adoption fees for cats that are one-year or younger. Effective January 1, 2020, adoption fees for cats that are 12 months or younger, will be $160. (Adoption fees for cats older than 12 months will remain at $140, as well as the $200 fee for a bonded pair.)
For only $160, you will get a young cat that has been spayed or neutered, treated for worms and earmites, received two rounds of vaccines, ID in the form of a microchip or tattoo, and a six-week trial of pet insurance through Petsecure. These services, not including pet insurance, are valued at $590!
As a strictly volunteer-run organization that is funded through donations, increased adoption fees will help RCR to recover some of these costs to allow more cats to be rescued.
If you have any questions about the new fees, feel free to contact us at info@reginacatrescue.com.
