Homeless Violence Victim Needs Temp Help for Cats
PFA was recently notified by a woman who has fled an abusive relationship and is staying in a women's shelter.
To get away, she was forced to leave her 2 beloved cats behind. She doesn't believe they will be harmed, but her former partner has been evicted and has nowhere to live either. So, the poor cats are left in limbo.
This woman loves her cats and would love to be able to hang onto them. However, she needs 2-3 months to get herself stabilized as the situation has left her financially decimated.
This is fairly urgent, as the partner only as a few days left before he has to be out, so the cats need a temporary place to stay for the 2-3 months, asap.
We can provide help with food and litter supplies, and they will come with some of their own supplies as well. But, we currently don't have the resources to take on these cats as we are full and still have several cats living outside on our wait list.
These cats just need a spare room to crash for a few months while their person gets back on her feet.
If you can help out for a few months, please contact us at pfasask@gmail.com.
Thanks!
